Common Issues
Use this page as the first stop when a workflow does not behave as expected.
Workbook upload fails
Section titled “Workbook upload fails”Check:
- The file is
.twbor.twbx. - The file is below the configured upload limit.
- The package is not corrupted.
Tableau connection test fails
Section titled “Tableau connection test fails”Check:
- Tableau URL and site identifier.
- Token, secret, or JWT configuration.
- Network reachability from the Antares backend.
- User permissions for projects, workbooks, users, and groups.
Usage sections are missing
Section titled “Usage sections are missing”Usage sections require Admin Insights or Tableau Server Repository access. Run the connection pre-check and review detected capabilities.
Analysis appears stuck
Section titled “Analysis appears stuck”Open job logs and check whether the job is waiting for a connection lock, retrying an external API request, processing a large workbook, or recovering from a worker restart.
Conversion output is incomplete
Section titled “Conversion output is incomplete”Review conversion logs and the generated conversion report. Some Tableau features require redesign or manual validation after automated conversion.
Fabric deployment fails
Section titled “Fabric deployment fails”Check:
- Fabric connection is still authenticated.
- Workspace permissions are sufficient.
- The target workspace has required capacity for large imports.
- The selected semantic model binding is valid for PBIP report imports.
