Does Antares read business data?
Section titled “Does Antares read business data?”Antares is designed to analyze workbook structure and metadata. It does not need to query the underlying business data behind dashboards to score migration complexity.
Do I need a Tableau connection?
Section titled “Do I need a Tableau connection?”No. You can upload a single workbook for analysis. A Tableau connection is recommended for environment-wide inventory, usage data, ownership context, and migration planning.
Why are some report sections unavailable?
Section titled “Why are some report sections unavailable?”Reports are capability-based. If usage, group access, repository access, or Fabric access is not available, Antares hides sections that depend on that data.
Can Antares convert every workbook automatically?
Section titled “Can Antares convert every workbook automatically?”No conversion tool can guarantee perfect output for every Tableau workbook. Antares identifies blockers and warnings so teams know what can be automated and what needs redesign or manual validation.
Can I deploy directly to Fabric?
Section titled “Can I deploy directly to Fabric?”Yes, when a Fabric connection is configured and the authenticated identity has access to the target workspace.
Is there a CLI?
Section titled “Is there a CLI?”Yes. The antares CLI supports automated upload, status, export, and analysis management workflows using personal access tokens.
